When I'm not Interior Designing or serving Mojitos, you can sometimes find me creating party invites, flyers, or in this case 1500 postcards for Teen Vogue's Fashion Night Out party. Magical Blizzard.

Holidaze prep.

25 years old, and Alissa and I were finally responsible for preparing the food this Christmas Eve dinner! We decided to make it low key and have a small plate spread instead of a sit down dinner as in the past. Eight hours later (yes for real) we plated ten very different dishes and ate up.

Today I'll be handing in this watercolor floor plan for the final project of my Presentation Techniques class. The rug was quite hard to imitate despite the fact that it looked like a watercolor itself...Nothing else to say! (click on the bottom image for a close up)

Windows worth the pause.

The perfect holiday-spirit-inducing stroll (avoid Weekends in order to be able to call this a stroll) starts on Fifth Avenue in Mid-town Manhattan. Elizabeth and I (latte` in hand) scoped the windows of Saks, Bergdorf Goodman, Henri Bendel, and Barneys, and ended with a gingerbread cupcake from Alice's Tea Cup. All the photos above are from the Bergdorf windows, whose splendor trumps all others. See the making of them here.

Yes, my bags have bling.

The perfect bag in my mind is a cross-body vintage leather bag. I have several small ones for going out (perfect for dancing) and one larger (with more pockets) for work days. You can get vintage Mulberry, Coach, and Dooney and Bourke from most consignment shops for $5-10, and a bottle of leather clear for the same. I like to add a little bit of 'flair' to my bags as well. On the top bag (Dark Blue Coach) I stuck on an old bee pin with an onyx eye. The bottom bag was missing a zipper pull so I added an old skeleton key,which I have MANY of from the house I grew up in. Recently though, I purchased a dozen rabbits feet in various colors, and handed them out to friends. If you see this trend coming back, just remember you heard it here first ;)
