Os Gemeos is a Graffiti (brothers) duo from Brazil. I had heard that they covered the wall on West Houston street before Shepard Fairey claimed the space, but didn't realize that the property owners had preserved their mural until now. Still not sure how I feel about this so-called "street art war" (thus destruction of the Shepard piece) but I am happy to see bits a pieces of this particular work.

In honor of the Word Cup, I am posting this by Brazilian design team, Rizerio + Almirante, who coincidentally just won a Gold and Bronze at the Cannes Lions. I have come to understand that the Lions are much like the Oscars for the advertising world. Congrats!!!
This table, named Alone in a Crowd, is too amazing. 511 figures representing all walks of life. By Rolf Sachs.

I ran across Hanneli Mustaparta's Blog while searching (as usual) for Street Style websites. It's especially coincidental because I used to work with her when I was on the women's board at Ford. Hanneli is stunning, sweet, and has truly impeccable taste (She even makes Denim on Denim look good). I would agree with Blackbook when they named her "The New Satorialist." If you like tart homemade lemonade you must go to Roberta's for their Fresh Mint Lemonade. They also have a unique brunch menu boasting only locally grown (and their own garden grown) foods. Try the Parmesan Polenta with pork shoulder and poached egg.
