The Brooklyn Flea is AMAZING. Beautiful vintage clothes, jewels, and bags. Vintage prints of botany, anatomy, astronomy. Old cameras, globes, furniture. And the food? Arguably the reason we went: Brisket sandwiches, horechas, tacos, Mexican corn, egg creams, oh my. The Bk Flea is located in one of my favorite Brooklyn neighborhoods, Fort Greene, so make a day of it, and if you make a night of it, go to Abistro, a quaint, delicious, Moroccan French place (BYOB!!!).
Kelly Wearstler, as you may know, has always been one of my greatest inspirations when it comes to Interior Design: The colors and textures, the luxury, art, and variety of cultural influences. Read, and become inspired here. I think it's time I take a trip.

So Proud of my girls at Gypsy Warrior Vintage! They just came out with their absolutely stunning Fall 2010 Lookbook. They truly have a knack for finding one-of-a-kind vintage pieces.
For my new class, Presentation Techniques, we had to draw spoons (my professor is super deluxe kooky FYI). I chose a tablespoon and a wooden spoon (burns and all). This was the first time I did a pencil sketch in years. Quite therapeutic really.
