Though I am usually drawn to colorful eclectic decor, I was inspired by these three images from the June issue of Elle Decor...ahh summer simplicity.
The top image is from Linda Lelenko and Stephen Piscuskas' Connecticut home. The neutral colors of the decor allows for transformation to take place in the table settings and the seasons. I would die for a cup of cappuccino on that patio right now.
The middle image is from Meg Ryan's Martha's Vineyard Beach house. I adore the use of wood, big simple windows, giant glass jars, and pendant lighting. The windows create a unique flow to the rest of the house.
The last image is from decorator Timothy Whealon's Southampton weekend home. Intimate and easy. Loving the lucite table in the background and the greenery.
